Promotional Ideas/Aides

In addition to promoting shows in your area, one of the most effective ways that you can share your enthusiasm about Joe is to simply help to get his music heard!  These promotional ideas do just that; they direct people to Joe's music and give them that possibly first, probably unforgettable listen.

DISTRIBUTE JOE BONAMASSA BUSINESS CARDS

or

Joe Bonamassa Business Card (PDF)

Printing out a sheet or two of these cards and bringing them to a concert, music festival, or the like is an effective tool; they contain all the information necessary to direct someone to Joe's music.

EMAIL SIGNATURE FILES

One of the first, easiest and most effective things you can do to help gain more exposure for Joe is to add a link to your email signature file. Imagine being able to distribute mp3's, streaming audio and video files of Joe with every email you send! The link to JBTV immediately directs people to Joe's music, offering a good look & listen, so this link is a particularly good one to add to your email signature: http://www.jbonamassa.com/jbtv.html

STREET TEAM FLYERS AVAILABLE ON TOUR PAGE

We are featuring links to downloadable flyers (.pdf format) on the Streetteam Website. This enables Street Team members to download, print, copy, and otherwise share flyers for upcoming shows in their areas. In addition, show venue links are also available on the tour page; these are great to email to everyone--your friends, family, local media, etc.--to help promote the show.

POST TO VARIOUS FORUMS AND BULLETIN BOARDS

There are countless forums and bulletin boards in the internet that relate to the blues, blues rock, rock, guitar playing, favorite musicians, concerts, singers, songwriters, entertainment, etc. We encourage street team members to share their enthusiasm about Joe and his music by posting to these sites and, if possible, including links to Joe's website, JBTV, and/or his myspace page.

PERFORMANCE VENUE RECOMMENDATIONS

Send Melissa Durse (Street Team Director) your venue recommendations, along with some supporting information. Tell her how many people it seats, what type of place it is, what genres of music they typically feature, what national acts have performed there recently or in the past, who to contact for booking (name and number), and their website if they have one.  Also, sometimes a good first step is to email entertainment managers/event coordinators/promoters at said venue(s) to tell them that, as a fan, you'd love to see one of your favorite blues rockers there--Joe Bonamassa!  Be sure to send them the link to JBTV so they could be immediately directed to Joe's music and take a look/have a listen.
